DOMAIN NAMES
Registerfly.com , which was the registrar for both Wolfchat.org and PCWolfTech.com is in legislation. They are no longer allowing updates to be made to any of the DOMAIN names that are/were under their care. Because of this, the WolfChat.org domain name, will soon, if it has not already, stop resolving. They will not release the name, so that I may transfer it, renew it or purchase it again via another registrar. The good news , no one else can purchase it during this time either... the Bad news is, WolfChat.org will not resolve to its IP address any more, and soon enough will stop working entirely.
How to work around this until this is resolved (Mid summer is our best estemation as to when it will be resolved, aprox 45 days) For IRC use /server 66.234.45.86 and you will connect to the chat server for the UO Game Shard use 66.234.45.86 as the server, and 2593(as always) as the port, in your Razor settings for the web page, use http://66.234.45.86 (this will be working with in the week, as of right now, it resolves to PCWolfTeach...) This will work for all and any other services provided that i may have forgotten to mention EXCEPT Email... that we simply will have to live with out. For those of you that only know my Email addie as WOLFGAR@wolfchat.org, Please be adviced to use my drizzt@nyct.net address instead. I am sorry for all of this, but it is completely out of my hands, if its any cancellations at all, there is a class action suit being filed against registerfly.com, and i have joined in on that suit, for all that, that is worth. It prob means that ill receive 42 cents, in about 5 - 12 years from now! WOLFGAR ![]()

Re: DOMAIN NAMES
A better explaination, as to what is going on with WolfChat.org and RegisterFly
cut and paisted from: http://www.registerfly-lawsuit.com/r...overview.shtml Why a Class Action Lawsuit is Needed RegisterFly.com customers have been denied the ability to transfer or renew domain names and many have lost their domain names as a result. RegisterFly has transferred many individuals' domain ownership to its own name to prevent people from fleeing the site. Furthermore, RegisterFly has charged many individuals for services that have not been delivered, causing a great deal of heartache for individuals who did not know if they were going to lose their domain names, their livelihoods, or any one of myriad injustices. RegisterFly's conduct has had substantial, and in many cases severe, impact on individuals and business that currently have domains held by RegisterFly. Repeated efforts by many customers to resolve issues with RegisterFly have proven fruitless. People are continuing to lose their hard won livelihoods as a result of RegisterFly's egregious behavior. ICANN, which accredited RegisterFly as a domain registrar - in the face of a litany of pre-existing complaints against RegisterFly - has refused to fulfill its legal obligations. Despite being notified by a mul#@$%#@$%#@$%ude of wronged RegisterFly clients, ICANN continually, and consistently, has refused to take action. Instead, ICANN has ignore the problem, accepting RegisterFly's empty promises to improve. ICANN violated its own policies and procedures and specifically the Registrar Accreditation Agreement ("RAA"). According to section 5.3.4 of the RAA, RegisterFly should have only had 15 working days to cure the breaches which ICANN was aware of last summer. It was not until Anne Martinez filed this Class Action lawsuit (which was placed under Seal by the Court due to the threat that RegisterFly may destroy Data) and gave notice to ICANN on March 15th 2007 that ICAAN began to enforce the RAA, but for many people who have lost their domains and/or business, it is too little too late. It is time for the American legal system to halt further damage from being done and to remedy and make whole the individuals and business who have already been irreparably harmed. For these reasons this class action lawsuit has been brought. You do not have to be an American citizen to participate in this lawsuit. GOALS OF THIS ACTION: First and foremost to halt the damage and help the hundreds of thousands of RegisterFly domain name owners regain control of domains they have purchased and registered through RegisterFly.com. To stop RegisterFly.com from continuing to register new domains even as they fail miserably in their duties to handle the ones currently under their control. To hold RegisterFly accountable for the damage it has caused. To hold ICANN responsible for its breach of duty, ranging from accrediting RegisterFly in the first place to letting them keep their accreditation after they time after time violated term after term of the accreditation agreement, and failed to give adequate weight to the endless stream of appeals for help from RegisterFly customers, all during which time ICANN was collecting a fee for each domain RegisterFly registered. To hold ENOM accountable for its apparent role in withholding authorization codes that were registered during the time that RegisterFly was an ENOM reseller, making it impossible for those domains to be transferred to another registrar, and billing RegisterFly customers, (who were registered when RegsieterFly was an agent of eNom) to provide services they were already liable to provide under their agent's (RegisterFly's) agreement. To ensure that the victims of the gross failures of these en#@$%#@$%#@$%ies are justly compensated for their losses.

Re: DOMAIN NAMES
Email i sent out to those people whom i had email addies for. Please if you have people you know about that should be noticfied about all this, feel free to copy and paste this to them.
Dear WolfChater: It is with great regret that I am forced to inform you, that our beloved Wolfchat.org, as we know it, will for ever cease to exist. WolfChat.org however will cont. to offer its Great services, but it will be forced to either offer them under a new and different name, or by other means. The Registrar, RegisterFly.com Whom I have used to register my domain names with (WolfChat.org and PCWolfTech.com) has become unreliable, and is in some sort of trouble. After spending the Day today investigating this matter, researching on the internet, talking to people, and even contacting a lawyer all I can say for certain is this: Registerfly.com is in Trouble, with lots of rumors flying around about its CEO, RegisterFly.com has a great many upset, disappointed, frustrated and angry customers, (which means I’m not alone) Registerfly is not responding to tech support, support tickets, phone calls, emails, or any other sort of communications from me as well as a great many other people whom they have wronged There is a class action suit against Registerfly.com right now, which I have joined. These things, however, can take a very very long time to resolve, going in to years. You can visit http://www.registerfly-lawsuit.com to learn more about that and/or to join in on the class action suit. Any one who feels as if they were wronged by or have been effected by what is going on may join in on it, and quiet honestly, if you use the services of Wolfchat.org and are now unable to make use of them, than this does effect you. As of right now, it is impossible to renew a domain name with them, as well as transfer away from them. They are holding domain names in their care, and will not release them, even expired domain names, so you can not even repurchase them via another Registrar. We have only 2 options before us, 1) wait this out, and deal with the fact that our domain name will not resolve to its IP address and thus wont work, and is virtually useless to us, or 2) Purchase a new and different domain name, and simply start over, trying to make contact with each and every person we know whom uses/used/, may use again, and enjoys the services provided by WolfChat.org. Neither prospect seems very pleasant to me at the moment. For right now, Please know and beware that you can still use the chat server by typing /server 66.234.45.86 My ISP is very good about not changing my ip address often (in fact in all the years I have been with them, the IP only changed one time, which is unusual even for a broadband connection) So this should work for a long time to come. Also keep in mind that Jam is running a leaf server for us, located at irc2.wolfchat.org … I will have to get and post the IP address for that on our forums, as i'm sure that won’t resolve for very long either. If you are playing or are interested in playing on our UO Emulated Server you can use the address 66.234.45.86 and port 2593 in your razor settings to get in to the game. For web page services you can visit http://66.234.45.86 (I will need to make some adjustments this week, so that, that page shows up as the Wolfchat.org web page, and not the PCWolfTech page…) We are on 2 Forums Where you can view updates on this matter, and contribute your own thoughts. http://myblocksite.com/wolfchat Which is our main forum. Please remember that once you load that page, you still need to click on the forums tab and than log in (I know that is a bit odd and I will talk to Stormwolf, the gentleman that hosts that for us about that) TomCoyote has also given us space (A long time ago) on his Forums, http://www.tomcoyote.com A great site btw, for getting computer help. You can find our section at the bottom of his forum, or by going to http://forums.tomcoyote.org/Wolfchat_f91.html directly. If you have any suggestions, comments or helpful advice about this matter, please feel free to visit either of those forums, or to email me directly at drizzt@nyct.net keep in mind, as WolfChat.org no longer, or soon won’t any longer resolve, and that WOLFGAR@wolfchat.org email address won’t work either. Please pass this email along to anyone whom you know to make use of, has made use of, or wishes to make use of any of the WolfChat.org services. I am certain that I have left out a great many people, as I have lost much of my contact list. I am using several different methods of contacting people, in an attempt to contact all the people concerned by this matter. If I have contacted you multiple times, please forgive me, it probably means that you have your email listed in several different places for different services Wolfchat.org provides. If you received this email, and feel you should not have, please forgive the intrusion, and simply disregard it. You naturally may send me an email and ask that I remove you from my email list. WOLFGAR aka Anthony D. Fratto drizzt@nyct.net
