News update about our shard

The other post was getting rather long, and most of it nolonger is revelant... so im starting a new post about what has been done, and what still needs to be done.

Most importaint, i guess, is that LilWolf discovered and reported a FEW bugs with our skeleton quest. I was able to fix all but one, and its a major one, so the quest has been suspended, turned off, until i can figure a fix for it. LilWolf will get a reward for testing, and reporting this bug.

Peg and BeastMaster reported that Vets are not rezing pets. After extensive testing, and research, it was discovered that they were never ment to res pets in the new version of RunUO. If we want vets to do it, its a custome feature. Lacking that , i have added in petrezstones to all dungeons, cost is 1500. There is also one in Brit, in the Vet hut, cost 1000 there. If you know of any other locals, that normaly would have a vet that can res your pet, let me know and ill add it, in town 1000, out side town 1500. From what i can tell, no other town offeres vets... but i did not search deeply into that. BeastMaster received a reward for testing out the resstone, and testing the bug... Peg will get a reward, once i see her in game.

All dungeons have res gates now, i may add a price factor into that later on. Your choice will be , take the res there for a fee, or go into town to get the free res, but pay the travel gate, unless you feel like walking, your call. As of now, the gates are free, but they wont be free for ever.

New added feature into our shard, a small thing, more for roleplay reasons, and for fun then anything else. It can not harm you, nor will it harm you... its just for fun. Upon death, you will notice the change, but i wont tell you excatly what the change is, that is for you to discover on your own. Have fun with it

Beastmaster has reported that Scribes, dont sell scrolls !!!! Fixed, now scribes buy and sell up to 4th circle scrolls,

Necro scrolls still need to be added, considering adding in a Necro vendor ...

Quests now fixed, Thanks to Stormwolf's Advice, the issue we were haveing was a known bug, and an update was released this past week... installed the updated XMLSpawner, and now all is good.

in addition to the SkellyQuest, we now also have an OrcFortQuest, in Cove. More to come, so keep an eye on these Forums.

ok... deceit, destard, dispise, shame, and wrong are all compleate, and ready to be battled in.

Gitch has made some great headway in fixing up our town spawns, no more venders on roofs, and no more double venders, she has also started town decos now.

Pipper has gotten a great deal of over world compleated, she has hit at least one wooded area outside of each major town so far.

adding in seed boxes this week , and vendors that will repair your weapons and armor for a price.

going to add in spawners to chests around the world, to give out some nifty stuff, the more dangerouse the area, the better the chest in that area will give, not all chests will give stuff, and they will spawn randomly, no more often then once a day, and no less often then once a week... perhaps this will change as well though. They will not always spawn the same thing either, so it will pay to return to these chests and often.... warning, sometimes they will spawn crap, sometimes great things. Better chests will require lockpicking ability or magic unlock, some will require youto be able to untrap it, or live through the trap... soem will have both dangers, some wont have any of those dangers... and who knows, maybe opening a chest, will spawn some great monster from one of the 9 hells ? (Now this is the stuff i enjoy!)
