Some new improvments

We have added a breeder in Brit, Just south and slightly east of the west bank. So if you have a pet and wish to mate it, that is where to go to do it. Elminster and TheBeastMaster will be testing it out this week.

Brit east bank has been improved. The addon, on top of the bank has been changed, so that you do not go grey inside of it any longer. You will notice that On top of it we have a statue of WOLFGAR and of Xena, the 2 active GMSs in the shard. The shack will be decorated and changed every now and again.

Spawn has been improved in North Brit, and the Ice Cave, and around Luna. The Yew Bragade Camp has been spawned. More spawn to come. Feed back is needed from the players.

Chests in Some Town shops now will spawn objects or gold. They will spawn very random items and at very random times. It will pay to start looking in chests, barrols, and/or other containors that you have been ignoring. The Same goes for Dungeons. Needless to say the more dangerouse the location the better amount of gold, or the better the item will be. Certainly a chest on the first level of deceit (which happens to spawn 100 gp) will not spawn as good an item as the one on the bottom level, near the Anceiant wyrm. (which will spawn rares ... ) You will want to keep checking, as i will be adding more and more spawn to containers as time goes by. So what does not spawn something today may very well spawn something tomorrow. The chests that do spawn things, may spawn every 5 min, or they may spawn once a day or twice a day, or only 3 times a week !! There is no way for a player to know when a chest will spawn and wont spawn. So just keep checking!.

I will not list all the containors that do have spawn, but just to get this ball rolling i will list some that do spawn right now.

Tailor shop in brit, spawns 13 differant items at random, one at a time. The chest will spawn at least one of the following at a time:

Cut cloth
Uncut cloth
bone
thread
wole
32 gold
shirt
pants
cloke
sewing kit
dyetub
shoes
jesters hat

Deceit first level has a chest that spawns 100 gp

Deceit second level has a chest that spawns either 125 gp or a GreaterHealing wand. The wands charges vary from spawn to spawn, they may have as lil charges as one on them or as many as 15 ...

There is a chest with spawn somewhere in Minoc, and another somewhere in Despise.

Other Chests around Fel will also be spawning things, but it is up to you, the player to find them.

I have an idea for a script, that i will attempt to write, that will create chests that show up in random locations around the world, in those chests you will find some really nice things... much better than those in the regular chest spawns. You may also find items that will start you on a quest ... This is only in the planning stage as of now, but if it works as i figure it will... it will be a nice addition to our shard.

To start this all off, there will be one Chest in Brit that will have a ONE TIME Spawn of a very special and very rare item. Once found it will never ever spawn it again.If you show this item to WOLFGAR, he will grant you another very special item!

And yes, this is to kick off our new chest spawn improvment as well as to see if anyone at all is reading the message boards!

The Scavenger hunt has come to an end. The only person that Found the item was Beast Master.

In the WearHouse just south of the West Brit Bank, in a chest drawer, a deed that will allow her to make a statue of her self. The statue may be made in several differant materials, and in several differant poses. The statue it self can be redeeded by the person makeing the statue any time they want. On top of the West bank in Brit you can find examples of such statues.


I was planning many other such scavenger hunts, harder, and in more exciting places, but the lack of participation in this event, makes me hesitate. I will need to hear from you, the players if you are interested in such an event or not.
