It's nice to see wolfchat.org still alive and well, here's my wish.

Many years ago I met a great bunch of people thru UO that I came to care about a great deal. I met them at a time in my life that can best be descibed as a crossroads. I worked nights and suffered from depression though I didn't know it at the time. Years later I was diagnosed properly and the cure was simply not to work nights anymore, something about the lack of sunlight doesn't agree with me. Anyway, the people I took close to heart (but likely never shared that feeling with) and the game itself became part of my life during those nights off and looking back they played a big role in my life at the time. It all unravelled when I met two different women that I grew fond of at the same time, one was nasty at heart but to make a long story short... don't ever have two virtual girlfriends at once, lol. Real feelings lost in unreal settings can be EXTREMELY confusing. It cost me my other friends.

Fast forward to today, I've been happily married for 4 years and have a wonderful 2 year old daughter. I work for the local school district and life is good. I don't play online games anymore, my 2 year old is excitement enough, but I am a part time business owner and webmaster in my spare time.

I've often wondered...
"How is Myst doing, still shouldering the load for others more than herself?"
"How's Anthony and life in Staten Island?"
"ShadowCaster, what did he conquer next in life?"
"the younger crowd like Voivod... what are they up to?"
"Aries, the young lad from Helena Montana with energy enough for 10 kids his age, did the military change him?"

So if you can manage, a time machine, unanswered questions pull on the soul as the years go by.

So many Questions First and formost, ... ITS GREAT TO SEE YOU AGAIN OLD FRIEND

Myst... always wounderful, always great. She and her husband are trying to sell their farm. They built a new BEUTIFUL home, and are setting them selves up for the next happy leg of their life, retirement.

Anthony and Staten Island... Life has its ups and downs. The last 2 and a half years have been a bit rough. One of the things I always feared that i could not handle or deal with did in fact happen. My wife has been fighting cancer for the last 2 and a half years... I never thought id be strong enough to handle that ... but in the end it apears as if i was. God has been good, and her Cancer is now gone Praise the lord She has lots of health concerns and some quility of life issues, but in the end i have faith that she will be fine. Other than that, i have becoem A+ certified and network+ certified since we have last talked.

ShadowCaster ... I dont know much what has gone on with him, other than he is in good health, has a home of his own, and is genneraly doing well. I do know he is happy, healthy and well.

Sadly i have lost contact with most every one else, so i can not inform you as to how they are doing

Glad to hear things are on the up swing for you and your wife.

Things have certainly been strange in my life since april or so. I had to leave my last job, in march due to them bouncing checks and acting shady. Since then I have been working retail at PetSmart as they were one of the few places that actually called me back for an interview. Oh well, it is great to have a stress free job where you just show up push your monkey buttons and go home.

I don't have much time for internet related stuff these days, but it is good to see some life back in the forums

Hey, monkey button pushing jobs rock! Where else can you get paid while daydreaming about your hobbies? My job with the school district allows me plenty of time to think about what website tweaks I want to work on next.

I'm looking to buy an old UO account or two, my step son is 12 and very much a gamer, anyone selling for a reasonable price ? I'd prefer him in UO instead of a game that starts with the letter war...

I gave my accounts away a very long time ago , and doubt if they even are in existance any longer Most of the old gang no longer plays UO

I am about to start my old shard back up again, if you are interested. Only reason it went down in the first place is cause of the lack of players... My wife and i are extreemly interested in playing again Let me know.

Didnt take much to get me infected again... I got the old shard back up and running. You can log in by downloading RAZOR and than setting the address to wolfchat.org (or 66.234.45.86) and set the prot to 2593

Had a great time playing this afternoon. Lots has changed in UO since you last played, some good , some not so good... once you get used to all teh changes though, you will love it all over again.

RunUO supports AOS, which is why i selected RunUO as the emulator. Most UNIX based emulators dont support AOS. I would have prefered to run a UNIX based emulator, because its more easy to keep a UNIX box up 24/7 than it is a windows box.

I origionaly purchased this Dell just for that reason, to leave it run 24/7 so i could run this shard... gave up the shard, because of lack of players, and because my life became complicated... now things are better the shard is up and running, AND I LOVE IT !

Petsmart is a great outfit from all i have heard. Stress free work is always a good thing I am sorry to hear that you have run into issues with the other boss though.

If you are insterested, and have the time... i have gotten the old shard back up and running again... I belive you still have an account on it even !
